Most golfers don’t actually know where their short game is leaking shots.
They have a feeling. A shot type they blame. Bunkers, maybe, or that awkward 20-yard chip. But a feeling isn’t a diagnosis — and practising based on a feeling means you’re just as likely to be working on the wrong thing.
And even when the weakness is real, most golfers have no idea how to build a practice plan around it. So they hit balls, run through the same drills, and hope something shifts. Sometimes it does. Usually it doesn’t. Either way, they can’t tell the difference.
THE TRUTH
The problem isn’t your short game. It’s that you’re flying blind.
Tour players don’t just practise more — they practise differently. They know exactly where they’re losing shots, they build sessions around those specific areas, and they measure whether it’s working.
That gap between guessing and knowing is what WM Track closes. It identifies where strokes are leaking, and builds your practice around the areas that will actually move your score.
THE SOLUTION
Three things that change how you practise.
01 — YOUR BENCHMARK
Know your number.
The WM Score is a single number — 0 to 100 — that captures the real health of your short game. Every game, every session feeds the same algorithm. It updates after every round.
Tour standard is 80. Most club golfers start between 30 and 55. You’ll know your number after your first session — and you’ll be watching it move within a week.
Measures growth, not just raw performance
Benchmarked against PGA Tour data
Works for every level — club player to Tour-level
02 — FIND THE LEAKS
See exactly where you’re losing shots.
The SG heatmap cross-references every shot you log against PGA Tour baselines — by lie, by distance, by difficulty. Green means you’re gaining strokes. Red means you’re giving them away.
Most golfers think they know their weaknesses. The heatmap usually tells a different story. You might think bunkers are your problem — but the data shows your 10-yard fairway chip is costing you twice as many shots. Now you know where to practise.
Tracked by lie, distance and difficulty
Measured against PGA Tour baseline data
Connects practice data to on-course performance
03 — KNOW WHAT TO WORK ON
Show up with a plan. Every time.
Today’s Practice reads your last 30 days of data, identifies your biggest opportunity area across the Three Pillars, and builds a time-blocked session plan around it. Tell it how long you have — it does the rest.
No more standing on the range wondering what to hit. No more repeating last week’s session because it felt comfortable. Just a specific plan, built from your data, pointing at the thing that will actually move your score.
15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minute sessions
Time-blocked across Technique, Skill and Performance
